Gustav Elijah Åhr who is popularly known as Lil peep was born on November 1, 1996, in Pennsylvania, U.S.

He was a very famous American rapper, singer, songwriter, and model who in his short life span left a deep impact on the minds of the people with his quotes, lyrics, and songs.

His childhood and teenage years were very difficult for him which has been greatly reflected in his songs.

His parents were both Harvard graduates and belonged to the teaching profession. They both got separated when he was quite young and was single-handly risen by his mother Liza Womack along with his other sibling Karl “Oskar” Åhr.

Lil Peep didn’t have many friends in the real world, most of his friend circle was from social media.

He used to spend most of his teenage time with his childhood friend Brennan Savage under the name of ‘Trap Goose’. Both friends decided to move to Los Angeles to follow their dreams and pursue a career in music.

The early days in Los Angeles were very difficult for him, he used to toggle between online friends home, and homeless. He used to spend some time at his friend Savage’s Apartment but later on parted his ways with him.

He, later on, met Atlanta Rapper and producer JGRXXN, through an online friend who was in a need of a singer.

In 2015, Lil Peep was finally able to release his first tape Lil Peep, part one which was an instant hit and was followed by many other successful albums.

He was a teenage fashionista and his fashion style was quite famous among teenagers. During the last months of his life, he walked on the ramp for Balman’s in Paris and Moncler in Milan and modeled for Volume.

Posthumus his death a clothing line ‘No Smoking’ was released, which was designed by him before his death.

HE might have died young but his words show that he had wisdom beyond his age. David Bowie and Fall Out Boy were his idols and he passionately followed them.

After the release of his first album, he never left the charts and his songs created a sensation among the youth who were his followers.
